MS GULF COAST COMMUNITY COLLEGE/PERKINSTON CAMPUS

MS Gulf Coast Community College is in search of an OTA Fieldwork Coordinator/Instructor.  This individual would be responsible for organization, administration, continuous review, planning development and general effectiveness of clinical experiences for students enrolled in the occupational therapy assistant program.  The instructor is to assist students in their learning process by utilizing all appropriate College resources, materials, facilities, and educational technologies available to complement the teaching and learning process.  This person is directed by the OTA Program Director and reports to the College Chair of Allied Health.

Mandatory qualifications are (1) licensed as and Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant, eligible to work in MS, (2) minimum 2 years of full-time post-licensure clinical practice as an OT or OTA, (3) Bachelor degree in Education or Health related field from a USDE-recognized regional or national accredited institution of higher learning.
