The  MSOTA 2020 Annual Conference was held on February 29, 2020 at the Clyde Muse Center on the Rankin Campus of Hinds Community College in Pearl, MS.  It was a huge success with the biggest turnout in MSOTA history!  We offered speakers from AOTA, the Mississippi Advisory Council, and legal council to discuss treatment options in various settings, MS regulations and reform, and how occupational therapy is affected by legislation and health trends in MS and throughout the US.   Round table discussions allowed attendees to interact with each other as well as our speakers.  Since our Student Conclave was such a big hit in 2019, we offered it again for the benefit of our 2020 graduates.  We also offered an afternoon pediatrics course for those working with adolescents.

In lieu of the Mississippi Department of Health issuing a CEU exception to include acceptance of all on line courses for the 2022 license renewal period, we have moved the MSOTA Annual Conference to an all virtual event.  This event will held over the course of three, weekday evenings 4/05, 4/06, and 4/08 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. each evening for a total of 6 CEU hours.  Hosting a virtual event of this magnitude is new to the Association and we are excited about this new offering to our members!

The links below will give you access to the conference agenda, the official MSDH statement regarding the 2022 license renewal change, on line registration for the conference, and sponsorship information and registration if you would like to be a sponsor for this event.
