Our first 2017 Coastal District Meeting will take place at the South Mississippi Regional Center at the Long Beach, MS campus located at 1170 W. Railroad St., Long Beach, 39570, on Thursday, February 9, 2017, starting at 5:30 p.m. and ending approximately at 7:00 p.m. The topic will include a free one hour CEU seminar entitled "Non-Alzheimer’s Dementia: Care and Resources" given by Melora Jackson, MS, CMHT, our local state Training & Program Specialist for the southern half of Mississippi’s Division of Alzheimer’s Disease & Other Dementia, under the Department of Mental Health in Long Beach, Mississippi. The 1.0 contact hour will be free to all current MSOTA members including those who renew or who join that evening. Refreshments will be provided. When you reach the campus, you will arrive at a guard shack. They will give out a visitor's pass and direct you to the Training Resources building located to the left after the guard shack. There will be signage for the correct classroom where we will have the meeting and seminar.
