WHY SHOULD YOU BE A MEMBER?
South Central District Meeting and CEU Opportunity
Our first 2017 South Central District Meeting will take place at Pearl River Community College in Hattiesburg located at 5448 Highway 49 South, Hattiesburg, Mississippi 39401 on March 14, 2017, starting at 5:30 pm and ending approximately at 7:00 pm. The topic will include a free 1 hour CEU seminar entitled "How the ALS Association and Occupational Therapists Can Work Together To Meet the Needs of their Patients" presented by Kaitlyn Lock, RRT, the Care Services Coordinator for the South Mississippi chapter of the ALS Association. The 1.0 contact hour will be free to all current MSOTA members including those who renew or who join that evening. Refreshments will be provided. The Jackson Free Clinic has several opportunities for clinician volunteers for every weekend starting on March 4 and after (excluding April 29). Please let us know if you would be willing to volunteer so we won't have to cancel opening the clinic for OT treatments. (Clinic will be closed on March 18, April 1, and April 15) Please contact Tanner Lee for more information.
